This article explores a fundamental offensive strategy for ultimate frisbee called the "Give and Go". The strategy requires a player to receive a throw from a teammate, quickly give the disc to another teammate, and then run around the defender in order to make themselves available to receive another throw. In order to successfully execute this strategy, the player must be aware of their defender's positioning and make sure they have an open lane to move in. The strategy can be used to surprise the defender and open up opportunities for a successful offensive play.
