Jody Avirgan plays for and has captained the Open Division team, PoNY (Pride of New York). He was a coach of the gold-medal-winning 2010 and 2008 US Junior Boys teams, and played on the team in 1998. He lives in Brooklyn, NY, and is a producer/reporter for WNYC, the NPR affiliate in New York City.
